Feel it, don't explain it
Many abstract philosophical topics have entered everyday speech without much meaning attached. For example — live in the here and now? What’s that even about? I didn’t get it for a long time. And even if it’s possible, how do you plan then? Turns out it’s easier to feel it than to explain it.
The experiment is simple. Leave half an hour early. You know where you’re going, you have time. No need to play navigator, frantically searching for the way. Don’t look at your phone — watch your own state. The moment you notice yourself among the crowd of focused city dwellers, you’ll feel yourself here and now. Remember that feeling.
