True desires
To shape reality, you need to think more about what you want, and less about what is. When you do what you truly want, the universe starts helping in return. Sounds simple, though figuring out what you actually want isn’t so easy. To sort this out, it’s important to be able to distinguish true desires.
True desires create a new reality. They come from the soul, not the head. They bring new experience and knowledge, help you grow and develop. Remember the old saying “woe from wit.” Life fulfills what we carry in our soul.
True desires are constructive, non-contradictory, and don’t trigger negative emotions. Unlike imposed ones, they’re not subject to outside influence and correspond to inner needs. Shifting the locus of control — the “assemblage point,” the place from which we are aware of ourselves — from the realm of words to the realm of sensations helps distinguish true desires in everyday life.
True desires are the “language of the universe” — they bring pleasure and joy throughout the entire process of realization. False ones don’t bring satisfaction even after they’re fulfilled.
