Walmart vs Ozempic

Walmart complains people are buying less food. They let it slip. Turns out they’d been fattening up a breed of humans who emptied shelves and medicated their diabetes and acquired conditions with pills. Everyone was happy.

Of course Ozempic breaks the pattern. What do you mean — eat less, less often, or not at all? And you don’t die. That was an option? Wow.

The balance of power is shifting. I think we’ll soon see reinforcements in the battle for the lives and minds of consumers.
