What is emptiness

Emptiness is the solid knowledge that darkness separate from the consciousness perceiving it does not exist and never has.

I kept thinking — when the ego dissolves and you find yourself in a little universe. How do I see it? With what?

Eyes don’t see directly — there’s no direct image feed to the brain. I only see the inside of the skull. The little universe is consciousness. And without it, there’s nothing.

And just as I “saw” the little one with myself — it didn’t need to be seen, it was all that existed — I imagine the big one, “our” universe, the same way. I sort of am it, and inside it sits this guy typing. And it seems to me that I’m inside him.
