Light

There’s a belief that you should always be worrying about something. But it’s a lie. Feeling good consistently is normal. Not an achievement. The norm.

You can’t always be happy, but you can be content. Without worry and fear, you start feeling the joy of being alive. Inner joy. Peace that comes from within, not from circumstances or things.

Consistent good mood is an indicator. A blank piece of paper, a still surface. Any dark spot or wave becomes immediately visible. Get used to feeling good. Then it’s automatic.

You wake up and something feels wrong, you’ll notice it right away. However, if you fail to recognize the darkness and don’t take active steps to address it, it will engulf everything.

Hold on to the light. Because without darkness, you wouldn’t know you had it.
