With Soul, Pixar got closer to the truth. In the movie, souls arrive as blank, featureless beings that need a “spark” to go to Earth. But look at the early concept sketches — originally, souls were designed as radiant, rainbow-colored creatures. Each one unique.

That’s a much better picture of reality. There’s an English expression — “true colors.” Your soul is a mix of colors. Or better yet — notes. Like music. Freediving is an underwater dance to the music of your soul. Everyone has their own melody.
