Be Svendsen — Beykoz Kundura

Be Svendsen played this two-hour set at Beykoz Kundura in Istanbul on March 3, 2018, for the eighth edition of Generic Music’s Get Closer series. The recording was released by Generic Music the following year.

Beykoz Kundura began as an Ottoman leather works in 1810 and later became the Sümerbank Leather and Shoe Factory. Production ended in 1999; the preserved industrial complex now serves as a film location and an arts centre for cinema, theatre, dance, and music.
