Question everything

That’s it. That’s the whole thing.

One last story before you go. Villagers once complained to Buddha: every teacher passing through swears his teaching is the truth and the rest are frauds — so who do we believe? Nobody, said Buddha. Not tradition, not scripture, not the teacher who sounds convincing. Not even me. Test a teaching the way you test food: does it nourish you? Does it make you freer or more dependent?

But the menu is not the meal. You can compare teachings forever and never taste one. The testing happens on you — like learning to swim, at some point you have to get in the water. Think, try, watch what works.

Every chapter here is a hypothesis. I checked each one against my own life for years and kept what survived. That’s my data. Which of them survive in your life — nobody knows yet.

Now question all of it — including this. Take what works, leave what doesn’t, run the experiment on your own life. The only test that matters is whether your day gets better.

And if it does — or if you want to argue about why it won’t — come find me.

Who are you?
