Enjoy Your Life

If you were waiting for me to give you the direct advice — here it is. The thing I wish someone had explained to me a while ago. Six lines, numbered from zero.

0. You’re only cheating yourself. Don’t lie. Anxious thoughts lie to you. Fear distorts reality badly. Don’t believe it, and move on.

1. Integrity comes from intent. Think, say, and do what’s right — not what’s easy, not what’s popular. Show your true colors. Eventually it works out.

2. Act, don’t react. Do everything slowly. Faster is not better. We type faster than we write — and soon we’ll type whole pages without touching a key. Speed isn’t the point.

3. Body is a friend. Do the blood test, understand the results, do the profiling. Know thyself. Train your head, your mind, and your brain too. Fit body, fit brain. Meditation is fasting for the mind.

4. Perfect day every day. The perfect day is the only day. If I don’t go to the gym, that means something isn’t right.

5. Always do your best. It’s easy to do — if the intent is true.

And underneath all six, one question to carry out the door:
